The Toothless Wonder

Well not really toothless, but minus one very important front tooth. We had a BBQ at Crystal and Lances tonight, along with Susie and Josh and their kids. While all the kids were jumping on the trampoline Kennedy accidentally got hit in the mouth with a stray bubble bottle. Man, you would have thought that the girl was going to die. She came running in the house screaming and bleeding. Cris took her in the bathroom and 5 minutes later she came out with a missing tooth. Now, lets get this strait she didn't loose the tooth from the bottle, but her dad pulled it while cleaning her up. It's been loose for a few weeks, and I guess it knocked it a little looser. But once she realized her tooth was gone she was all smiles, and ready for the tooth fairy. We got home and she wanted to call Grandma and Grandpa Cziep to tell them. While on the phone with Grandpa he said that with all the inflation she should get 5 dollars for it. Thanks a lot Dad! I think that the Tooth Fairy is too poor from all the prices going sky high so she will only be getting 2 dollars.

It's About Time

I thought that it was about time I updated the pictures on the side bar of our blog. The old ones were taken over a year ago. Man have my kiddos grown!! One of these days we will get some more professional pictures taken but mine will work for now. I want my dad to take some pictures of us when they come for Kennedy's baptism in a few weeks. His camera is awesome!! Wow time flies! It seems like just yesterday they were all just babies!!

With Record Breaking Heat Comes....

Record lows. We had about two or three beautiful hot days early this week, and now we are experiencing the chills!!! How is it that I can go from dying of sweat and turning on the A.C. to getting the chills, and turning back on the heat??? At least its warm enough to make the kids go outside today. And at least it didn't rain on us on our run this morning, we only felt a few sprinkles. Only 8 days till my marathon!!! Yea!!!!!!!

Record Breaking Heat

So we've had some record breaking heat the past few days, and even maybe today. Yesterday it was 97 DEGREES!!!! Wow! We finally turned on the A.C. on Sunday, I was really wanting to hold out until the end of the month, but wasn't able too. When I went to the gym yesterday, I couldn't even work out. The cheapskate gym owners hadn't turned theirs on yet. I thought I was going to die. I left them a not very nice note on the front desk stating that it was to hot and that it's not healthy for their patrons to workout in the heat, and to turn on their A.C. (I even checked the thermostat it was 77 degrees inside and mix that along with the humidity from everyone working out. Wow!!) Well, guess what when I went in today the A.C. was on!! Either my note worked or I wasn't the only one complaining. It was much better to work out in today. So with this nice and hot weather I might turn on the sprinklers for the little ones today. (if I feel like sitting out in the heat :)) I love the summer!!! And can't wait for monsoon season to start. We love to watch all the thunder and lightning storms from the trampoline. And all that rain is nice too.

Battle of the Bands

The kids elementary school does a battle of the bands every year to get the kids to read. This year Cris was asked to play bass guitar and guitar in it with our good friend Randy, and another guy named Randy. The teachers put on skits and lip sing to songs and dance. They put on a performance at the school for just the kids, and then a night they do a night performance to raise money for the Thomas Jefferson Scholarship Fund. I went to the night performance last year and it was so funny, and the kids love it. So we couldn't miss out on this years performance exspecialy since Cris was in it. They played three songs, Brown eyed Girl, a song I don't remember the name to, and R.O.C.K. in the USA. They did really good! And Cris had so much fun, and can't wait to do it again next year. They are even thinking of playing a few songs at the standing on the corner festival in September. Here is some pictures and video. Bare in mind my camera has been acting up and won't focus when I zoom in. So the video and pictures are fuzzy.

Random picture of the staff dancing to Queen

My camera is really bad the sound isn't good and the picture isn't good in either one of these videos. And I'm not a good videographer either. I'm everywhere in the ROCK in the USA but i was trying to get a picture of Jocelyn dancing. She was just as entertaining as the performances. And it's also hard to take video with a two year old on your lap. I hope you enjoy!!

My Workouts

My workouts have been going good. I haven't posted about them in a long time. I've been just to busy with the kids softball and t-ball, school, and every thing else. I've been doing good. We ran a 20 miler today. It was great to run out to Clear Creek and back again. We just added a few miles to it to make it longer. It was such a hard run and I remember when we first ran it we all said never again, but we did it again. It feels great to conquer so many hills, and miles. We did say never again, again today, but I wouldn't be surprised if we did it again. I'm starting to get a little freaked out about the race. We only have 15 more days. It sure has snuck up on us. Man time flies when your having fun!!

What the........!!!!!!!!

This post deserves alot of explanations!!!!! Why on earth did I wake up this morning to my kids say "What the heck?!?!?!?" This is why.........
Snow in Arizona in May?? The weather man did way it was going to rain, but snow? Wow! At least isn't not sticking, right. And this picture doesn't even show how big the flakes that are coming down now. I just mowed the back yard yesterday, and my kids were wearing shorts and tank tops with no jackets. And now today I have to try and find their heavy jackets. Now I know I shouldn't complain because all my friends and family in Idaho have been dealing with the snow for months and months now. But come on I live in Arizona. So for now I will quote my kids, "What the heck?!?!?!?!?!?!"

Mother Daughter Date

Since the boys are out camping at the Father and Son's camp out, I thought it would be fun to do something with the girls. I asked some friends if they wanted to go the local beauty college and get mani's and pedi's. Susie and her daughter were the only ones that were able to come. So off we went and had a good ol' time. Plus it only cost us 5 bucks for a mani and 5 bucks for a pedi. What a deal!!! Here are some pictures of our fun time.
Jocelyn showing off her nails

Kennedy looked so relaxed getting her foot massage

Autumn showing me her nails. I love her red hair!

After wards at home showing off the finished product

Kennedy's nails had some fun sparkles on them they were really cute.

After our fun time getting our nails done, we went to dinner. Crystal was able to meet up with us there. We went to the best Mexican food restaurant ever!! E'n'O Kitchen. Yummy! It's in our little town airport, but we didn't see any planes this time. We ate and headed home ready to watch a movie and eat junk food! I love having my girls to play and get all pretty with. We will defiantly do it again soon!! Cole came with us too and he got his nails painted too, but shhh it's a secret.

Fun With Dad

While i was in the kitchen making cookies I could hear the kids laughing outside. I went to go see what was going on and I found Cris jumping on the trampoline with them. This is a daily occurrence. Cris love to play with the kids. I always joke that I have five kids not four. By the time I found my camera they were off the trampoline. But I did get some fun pictures of them doing other things.
Here they are all being pushed. I don't know why we bought them a new swing set/club house last year when they never play on it.

Playing Frisbee

Jocelyn flying high! I zoomed in to take the picture and Cris threw her a little higher than I thought.

Cris is such a fun dad! I love to watch him play with the kids. I love you Cris!!

The Schwany Man

Yummmmm! We love the "Schwany Man"! I learned to love Schwan's ice cream when I was a little girl. My Grandma and Grandpa Clark always had their ice cream stocked in their freezer. My Grandpa loved the Summer's Dream flavor. (it's orange sherbet swirled in vanilla)It's a seasonal ice cream that is only sold in the summer months. It's now is stock!! And guess what's in my freezer waiting for me to eat when the kids go to bed. The Schwany Man made his bi-monthly stop at my house today. Bed time can't come soon enough.
In the picture Cole is eating a orange sherbet push up from them.( the picture is from my cell phone.) And Cris will be to differ with me his favorite flavor is their Rocky Road.

Saturday Training

We ran 19.5 miles plus a half mile cool down and warm up. Yea us!! Now I think I'm ready to run the marathon. I kept telling my self that if I got to 20 I would be happy and not so nervous. We ran it in 3 and 1/2 hours, so we ended up running just over a 10 minute mile. I'm happy with that too. It was so hard, and my legs are so achy. No pain no gain right. :)

Look What I Made

Yummy!! Cris has been bugging me for weeks to make some cinnamon rolls. I didn't have a recipe was my excuse, but a quick email to my cousin and presto a recipe!! Thanks Michelle these were so yummy!! I'm sure I've gained a few pounds since making them yesterday. And I might add I was shocked that they turned out on my first try. Yea me!!!

I haven't been good about posting work outs but I'm doing them!! Tuesday I was only able to get about a mile and a half in on the treadmill before Cole started screaming and wouldn't stop. So we left I just couldn't get into it with a toddler screaming next to me. Wednesday I did about 7.5 miles and about the same for today. We are hoping to hit 20 miles on Saturday.
