Thank You Grandma and Grandpa Cziep!!!

Thank you for all the Halloween Goodies and Cookies!!!! Cole was scared of the glasses at first but now loves them!!!

I thought you guys might get a kick out of the this picture of Jocelyn. Don't ya just love the kool-aid mustache and the chocolate all over her face!!! She picked the m&m's off the cookies along with the frosting and left the cookie to me.

Pumpkin Carving!!

We carved pumpkins for family home evening on monday. I'm a little slow at getting the pictures on here. The kids had a blast, and actually did really good at poking the holes and carving themselves this year. Cole loved reaching his hand in and getting the gunk out, but he was also very good at putting it back in behind my back the silly little boy. And look at me all Susie homemaker like wearing a apron.

Jocelyn's preschool also did a family night. We had Chili with Fry Bread, and them carved more pumpkins. I was tempted not to take any since we had carved some two days before and spent$16 on some already, but I couldn't disappoint my kiddos. So we went to Wally world and purchased these cute tiny ones for .87$ a pound. I think the most I spent on one was $1.50. They loved them and it was a fun night out.
I swear I don't have a quadruple chin in real life. I just do in almost every picture ever taken of me. And we usually don't all smile this cheesy. :)
I just had to post this picture of Cole with his pumpkin, he loved it and carried it round the house all day today.

A Few Tid-bits, and Smorgasbord of Posts

Scroll down to view my smorgasbord of posts. There are quite a few!!!
And now for a few tid-bits.
*Kaden was jumping on the couch the other day and rough housing, and whacked his head. After a quick trip to the E.R. he now has a very expensive super glue holding a gash together on the back of his head. I didn't get any pictures of it. Sorry for all you interested in seeing it.(at least it was just glue and not staples, like Kennedy had last year)
*Today was the kids last soccer game. WooHoo!!!!!!!
*Cole has a nasty cold, and is a cranky little boy!!!!
*Now for the best part of my day!!! I have heard many stories pertaining to the one I'm about to tell ya, but in the 8 years living here, it's never happened, or I've never been a recipient of it. If a truck gets in a wreck , and the merchandise spills out they can not sale the stuff. I've heard cheese and produce stories like this. Well, apparently a truck wrecked on I-40 and it was full of chuck roasts. Well, when this happens they can no longer sale the babies. So we were the recipients of some roasts. Not just any roasts, but this babies!!!!! FOR FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The pictures really don't do much justice. They are huge and boneless!! And they filled my deep freezer! Has anyone seen them this big??? We got 9, of them and will be giving some to the families that Cris home teaches. So don't worry mom, and dad, I will have plenty of room for the meat you will be bringing me in a few weeks. I think that for the few we will be keeping, I will thaw them out, cut them up, and vacuum seal them. I think I can get 4-5 good sized roasts out of each big one. Yummy!! Does anyone have any good recipes that use roast that I can have, besides the basic crock-pot, or oven recipe? I bet ya can't guess what's for dinner and the Moss house tomorrow!!!!

This Ones For You, Maria!!

I ran a Breast Cancer awareness 10k today. It was pretty fun, and not many people ran it, most walked, and you could even ride a bike. I came in 4th place(I personally say 3rd, cause I really don't think the girl on the bike that came in 1st should count. :) I think I did pretty good. I did get a head start on a few people, cause they really didn't do a start, they just said, ok, you can go now. I had a guy pass me around mile 2 and Kim Henling zoomed past me around mile 31/2-4.(you go girl!!!) All, in all I had a good time especially for doing it alone.
We've been thinking of you Maria, and I hope your doing well, please let me know if I can do anything for you guys, even though we are 800 miles away!!! Love ya!!!!
Bare in mind that this picture was taken after the run, I don't sweat, I just turn bright red, and stay that way for a good hour or so. And my shirt was two sizes to big, maybe next year they will get some smalls, or mediums. I had to totally tuck that baby in. :)

WHS, W.H.S.!!!!!

Kennedy did a cheer clinic this week. She had alot of fun, and then cheered in the home football game Friday night. Watching her brought back the many memories of going to the games high school, and good ol' Rigby High. And don't those colors look familiar to anyone?

I made her some cute little korker bows to match her shirt and WHS colors.

Here she is with the Bulldog. She just had to have a picture with it along with many other girls. A random little girl got in the picture with her, and Kennedy was looking at the other girls mom. Ha, ha.

Go Bulldogs!!!!!

Mother Daughter Date

Kennedy and Jocelyn were dieing to watch HSM3. So on Friday I was the cool mom for about 4 hours. I was so cool that the kids got out of school early. We drove to Flagstaff went out for lunch, went to Target and got HSM shirts, and then went to watch the movie. We had such a fun time, and the girls loved it. Next time it's the boys turn to go have some fun.
Here are my girls before going into the theatre.

School Pictures

The kids got their school pictures back. I love the way Jocelyn's turned out!! They used a friend of mine that's from here in town to take them. She does such a awesome job!! If you remember a while back, Jocelyn had a black eye, well it just happened to be right around picture day. Shannon edited it out for me. Doesn't she look so cute!!!

Here is Kadens picture. I'm tempted to do retakes. I hate how there is a glare on his glasses, you can't even see his eyes, and I wish he was smiling more.

Here is Kennedy's I think it turned out ok. I really like how her blonde hair pops on her black shirt, and the dark back ground.

To tell the truth, I really can't stand life touch!! The prices are sky high, and you don't get many pictures. I really wish the school would have used Shannon to do their pictures too. If anyone in our area is looking for someone to take family pictures, she does such a good job, and her prices are unbeatable!!! You can check out here web site here....www.hidesertphotography.com (if you look hard enough you might even find us on her site, in the family, or kids sections. :)
I'm hoping to have her take some pictures of our family in the near future!!

Another Tag!!!

For this tag you are supposed to go to your picture folders and go to the 4th folder over and pick the 4th picture out of it and post it. Here is the picture.
Man, Kaden looks so young in this picture!!! This was taken on o5'. I tag anyone who wants to do this one!!!

I Got Tagged

Rules:Link the person who tagged you. Mention the rules on your blog.Tell 6 unspectacular quirky things about you or your family.Tag 6 fellow bloggers by linking them. Leave a comment on each of the tagged bloggers' blogs letting them know they have been tagged.

So I have done this tag before. I was temped to look back and just copy and paste it, but i was to lazy to look back for it. So I had to think of my 6 things about me again. They might be the same, but might not be.

1. I can't stand tomatoes!!! I love the flavor they give things, and the smell of them, but it's the texture that gets me!!! If I use them in anything, they get blended. I also don't like most veggies, and my kids lack in getting them. Cris would love it if I cooked broccoli , but I can't even stand the smell!!! So for number one, you can call me a meatiatarian.

2. I like my dishwasher loaded a certain way. If anything is out of place if you were to load it, I would reload it. I do this to my loving husband, my mother-in-law, sister-in law, and even my own mom. Don't get me wrong, I love the help, but I just can't stand it if its not my way. Maybe I have alittle OCD, although you wouldn't be able to tell from the looks of the rest of my house, but at least the dishwasher is in order. LOL

3. I love the outdoors. I didn't when I was little. My parents would take us hiking and camping all the time when younger, and I would do anything to get out of it although I never could. :) MY family used to call me scaredy cat, cause I would cling to the edge of the hiking trails if there was a cliff on the other side or it I didn't want to go up to the top, my mom would have to stay at the bottom of the trail with me. I still can't stand the drive the Jackson Hole Pass. It scares the crap out of me. I always worry about going off the edge and fall all the way down to the bottom, which, if you've driven the pass, you know it's along ways down!!!!

4. This one is a bit embarrassing. My nick name from my brothers is Annie-pany hose. Don't' ask me where I got it, but when I was younger if they called my that, you'd get instant water works!!! They still call my it, especially Steven, every time I talk to him on the phone he calls me it, instead of by LeAnn.

5. You all know this one already but I love to run!!! I've really had a hard time with it lately. I hate running on a treadmill but that's all I've got, cause I've gotten lazy to get up at 5:30 or 6 in the morning to go outside. :( I guess the quirky thing about this is you have to be crazy to love to run 26.2 miles and want to do it again.

6. This one is funny and a bit embarrassing to Cris. :) We were set up on a blind date, and he had to work that afternoon, so my best friend and her date came and picked me up, and then we went to Cris' Aunt Patty's to pick him up(he was living with them for awhile) While sitting on the couch waiting for him to get ready he came walking into the room without knowing we were there. He had just gotten out of the shower, and was in a towel. He was embarrassed, and quickly left the room. That's one way to meet your future husband. :) This was also on my 17th birthday, and I had already been on a date earlier that day.

So there you have it!!! I tag.... Jayne Ann, Kristie, Lani, Camille, Melene', and Tanae(you haven't posted in a while I want to see more cute pics of Brynlee!!)

Checklist For A Windy Day

1. Make sure trampoline is tied down tight. CHECK

2. Tip over bball hoop. CHECK
3. Attempt to go to the soccer game, not because we wanted to in the wind but because the kids had snacks and we couldn't skip out on this one. (thankfully we got there and there were no games. I wish the coach would have called. I woke up at 6:30 on a Saturday to get everyone ready to be there at 8) CHECK
4. Make sugar cookies with the kids, one, because they are bored cause they can't go out side, and two, because they weren't aloud in their rooms due to high dust volume, mudding, sanding and texture being done. CHECK

5. Take this kids to McD's to get them out of the way so Cris and Tim could work. But to my surprise when I come home a hour later and not much was accomplished, because they were playing Halo.(no big surprise there. The hall way and Kaden's room is ready for paint!! YEA!!) CHECK

6. Take picture of the dust wall that Winslow always has when it's windy. We live in the middle of nowhere with nothing to protect us!!(this picture does not do it justice!! If you went outside you would blow away!! That is my new car in the driveway. :)) CHECK

7. Take a picture of the new bows I've made the girls. :) I especially love the Korker one in Jocelyn's hair!! And Kennedy's are her soccer ones I made yesterday.

8. Take a picture of my cuties!!! (Kaden is still without glasses!!! I wish those babies would get here!!!) CHECK

Another Bow

I made this bow last night!! I would love to say that I just whipped it up, but man it took me a good hour to make it!!! I think I'll get faster as I go. Kennedy loved it and just had to wear it to school today!!! I do have to say, I think it turned out ok, I think I will get better as I do more. Tonight I'm cookin up some corker ribbon, for some corker bows!! I hope they turn out, so stay tunned!!

I think I'm going to try and sale them, but I'm not sure. They are pretty cheap to make and I think I could make a few bucks on each pair. What do you all think?

A Bomdardment of Pictures

There is a nice dusting of sheet rock mud dust covering my whole house.(we did cover everything!!) Don't ya just love the texture it gives my printer? So the question of the day was, to dust or not to dust? I didn't, Cris will just be sanding again tomorrow, then putting on another coat in some places, then sanding again, and then on to texture. So what's the point? This has been a pain in the butt, and I know we will say why didn't we do this years ago. Next time(if there is a next time) we will defiantly remodel before moving in. I can't wait till it's done so I can pick out paint colors. :)

I just want to say what awesome VT I have!!! They brought the kids over a bag with all these yummy goodies to eat while watching conference. I thought of doing it myself, but never had the time to get it together. The idea is to eat one treat every time someone says that word, or you can eat the whole bag if the talk is on that subject. The kids loved it!! Thanks Patty!!!

Here they are eating away. Kennedy is missing we traded her for Boston, and Kaden had Austin come. For having friends they did really good watching but got restless during Pres. Monsons talk.

Cole loved the tootsie rolls. He takes after his mommy!!! I will always remember my Grandpa Clark having handfuls in his suit coat and if you went to sit by him at church he would give ya some.

This picture leads on to the next picture. While mudding on Saturday, Tim painted the kids faces. Cole thought it was great!!! Well, when Cris and Tim were in the garage, Cole got mysteriously quiet. So I went in search for him.
I found him like this. Along with one corner of my wall, without any mud(which should have had some on it.) The rest of the day, he would keep getting into the mud to paint himself. Thanks Tim!!
I found this cute quick page, and just had to use it, but didn't have a picture I liked for it till now. Isn't he such a cutie!!!
Here is another page I did of Jocelyn's first bike ride. I have been seeing all these templates, but didn't know how to use them but I found a tutorial online and I now can say, I LOVE TEMPLATES!!!!! It needs more I think, but I just don't know what. Any suggestions anyone?
I've also been working on a page or two from my marathon, but have hit a wall, and redid the pages several times, I just don't know what to do!!! Any suggestions for it too?

Bows, Mud and Srap

I finally did it!! I made a pair of bows!!! I've been wanting to for quite some time now, and I had some time this afternoon while the kids were napping to try it. Living in the small town I live in, I had gone to walmart to get some ribbon. Not much of a selection, but it worked. I choose pink and brown. Also I couldn't find any clips at our walmart, so these bows are made from old clips from old bows that were dirty and worn out.
What a poser!!!

The clips on these bows were very small I would say maybe just one inch. If I were to make more with these size clips, I wouldn't use as much ribbon, the layers were hard to spread out. Nest time I head to Flagstaff, I'm going to get some more clips. These were so much fun to make and Jocelyn loved them!!(Kennedy was bummed I didn't make any for her.) Also next time, I might try the thread version instead of floral wire. It worked but the wire stands out more than I want.

Now on to mud. Cris has been mudding the house finally!!!! I have lived with sheet rocked walls for lets see 8 months. We are wanting to refi the house, but it needs to be finished before we can so our appraisal will be good. So he's been busy trying to finish. With the help of Tim it will be done hopefully in the next two weeks. All of Cris extra time will be devoted to finishing!!! No more Halo till it's done!!!!!! :)

Here is the October desktop I did. It was really easy, especially with the help from Shabby Princess. It's just a template, so all I did was insert the pictures of the kids!! Then I same it to our desktop, and wallah, a cute desktop background.
