Benson Smiles!!!!!!

"What, you want me to smile? And for the camera???"
"Well, I guess I will, just for you...."
"I am pretty dog, gone cute, aren't I"
Benson started to smile a few weeks ago, and I was finally able to catch it on camera the other day. I love it when they start getting more fun, and interact!!!!

Daddy's Train

The BNSF Railway had a family day in where you could take your families to go look at a engine, and have lunch. Cris was at work, so I took the kids. This was my first big outing alone with all 5. It went pretty well, thanks to Kennedy, and Kaden being so helpful. The kids had alot of fun seeing where their daddy worked, and they thought it was pretty neat.

The Haircut......

Cris has been telling me for almost a year now that he was going to cut Cole's hair short. I always told him no and threatened him with divorce if I were to come home one day and it be cut. Well on Easter Sunday he told me again as he was cutting Kaden's hair that he was going to cut Cole's. I still told him no. I love Cole's hair long!!! I even told him that he couldn't cut my baby boy's hair. He then proceeded to tell me Cole was no longer my baby boy. I argued all morning long with him about cutting it. I finally gave in, and said that he could but we will be growing back out!!! Well then came the cutting part. I couldn't even be in the kitchen. I walked in when he was halfway done, and I started crying.(you would think I was the one getting my hair cut) Cole no longer looked like my little boy anymore.
I like how it turned out, but I still was to grow it back out. And now everyone says how he looks so much like his daddy now. You be the judge.....
I just had to document this picture. Cris hates it when I take pictures, because I have to take lots. I think he got sick of me and the camera in his face.

Easter 2010

We had a fun Easter this year. What better way to celebrate it than to watch conference as a family. Although it was hard to watch at times with the kids talking and running around, and then Benson decided to poop and pee all over Cris.(we all got a good laugh at that.) We eventually sent the kids outside and watched the second half in silence and laughed and Cris' mom and dad snoring away. I loved how most of the talks were centered around family.
After conference we had dinner and a egg hunt with our friends Josh and Susie's family, Rich and Allison's family, and Crystal and Lance's family, and Cris' parents. The kids had a great time, and it was a beautiful day!!!!

We had a great time, and loved being able to spend the evening with great friends and family!!

Benson's Blessing

Benson was given a name and a blessing on March 28th 2010. He was such a good boy during the blessing. Cris blessed Benson to be a example to his peers and family, to listen to his leaders, to find a worthy young woman and to marry in the temple. He was also blessed with health and strength, physically and spiritually.
I decided to forgo the usual white outfit, and found Benson this cute shirt, vest, and pants. I thought that he was the most handsome little guy ever.
Cris and Benson.
So Cris will totally kill me for telling this story but I can't help it, it was so funny!!! Do you see the small cuts on his forehead?? Well, a few days before blessing Benson, Cris went and bought us a new mattress. While in the room getting ready to take the old one out, Cris was standing on the bed. He noticed that the ceiling fan was on, and he thought that he'd better turn it off since the mattress would probably hit the fan on the way out. Instead of getting off the bed and hitting the switch, he went to pull the chain to turn it off. Well he ran right into the fan while it was on, hence hitting his head on the fan a few times. LOL!! I really wish I would have been home to see it happen. His parents got a pretty good laugh about it especially since they were there to see it happen. He didn't even realized it cut him until his mom mentioned it. Needless to say he had quite the headache the rest of the day.
Since Easter landed on General Conferance Sunday, the kids wore their new Easter clothes when we blessed Benson. They all looked really cute!!!
Grandma, and Grandpa Cziep made the 12 hour drive to come to the blessing. The kids were so excited to see and play with them. We took this picture right after church.(I really can't believe that I'm posting these pictures since I have lots of weight to lose, and I just look plain fat. But I'm slowly losing the weight. And I'm doing a biggest loser challenge and have so far lost 9 pounds. I hope that my pre-pregnancy pants will fit me soon) I failed to get a picture with Grandma, and Grandpa Moss.
And we can't have a family picture without pulling faces. :) I personally think Cris has the best one.
After the blessing we had a BBQ out in the back yard, and it was such a beautiful day to do so. The kids ran, and played and we soon started a baseball game in the backyard. I wish I would have taken pictures of everyone playing. We had such a great day with all our family and friends. We are surely blessed to have them, and their support!!!!

Four Weeks Old

I'm way behind in posting. Hopefully I can get caught up soon. Here are some pictures I took of Benson when he was 4 weeks old. Hopefully I will get his blessing pictures, and his 6 week pictures posted soon.
We are loving this little guy to death!! He thinks he need held all the time, and there are always open arms for him. Which can be a bad thing!!!
We get this look all the time!!! I call it the "Your crazy mom" look.
