Diaper Baby

I made this diaper baby for a friend that I am throwing a baby shower for. It's not quite finished, I need to make his arms and legs look better and figure out how to attach his head to his body. Any suggestions? His legs look way to small. I think I might put some shoes on him. I'll have to post a pic when he is complete at the shower on Saturday.

Go! Fight! Win!
Kennedy did cheer camp last week, and got to cheer in Winslow High School's home game last Friday.( along with 30 or more other girls. This is how the cheer squad raises money for camp and stuff) She had so much fun. We went and watched her and the game. Of course we thought that she was the cutest girl there but we are a bit biased.
Marathon!
My marathon training is going well. Today we ran just over 7 miles. Yea!! We are hoping we can pace a ten minute mile throughout the race. Which means we would finish in just over two hours. That's our goal right now but it could change. (hopefully better, not worse) Wish us luck!

Isn't she beautiful!!

Isn't she so pretty! One of Jocelyn's friends brought her a present yesterday for her birthday. Can you guess what it was? That's right, makeup! She loved it. Boy, was she made when I washed it of.
Note to self, don't let her do yours, and if she does wash your face before leaving the house. ( I let Kennedy do my makeup one time, and forgot to wash it off before going to the store. Everyone kept giving me weird looks)

We had a really busy weekend! It was Kaden's first soccer game on Saturday. (Kennedy wanted to do tumbling this year instead)They tied 0-0. Kaden did really well. He is the one without the number on his shirt. For some reason their shirts didn't come in. It looks like our city needs to work on watering their Fields better.

On Saturday night we took the kids to the carnival. They had so much fun. Cris would laugh at me because I kept telling him to make sure the kids were in tight. I'm not sure how well those rides can be put together within one day.

It was Jocelyn's third birthday on Sunday. She was so excited. I think she told the whole ward at church. She got a Tinkerbell toy from Sari and the gang. She got a new dress up dress from Cris and I. (I was so excited to find one that would fit her, one size fits all does not apply to a three year old that wears 12-18 month clothes. It is still a bit to big, but nothing a sewing machine won't cure) Kennedy, Kaden , and Cole got her a Dora truck. Oma sent her 20 dollars which she chose to get a little Pet Shop toy. Jesse and Kaylee got her the new Island Princess Barbie. She made out pretty well. I attempted to make her a purse cake. (I made one for Kennedy's birthday one year and it turned out way cute.) I put it in the freezer so it would frost easier, and it tipped over and made a big mess. I didn't have any more cake mixes, so Cris saved the day and went to wal-mart and got her one. It wasn't nearly as cute as the one I would have made, but it was better than no cake.

A friend and I have decided to run a marathon, well a half marathon anyway. It's the P.F. Chang's Rock and Roll marathon in Phoenix. It's not until January so I have a while to train for it. It's sound like it will be a lot of fun. They have live bands playing every few miles or so. I'm really excited to try it, just to say I ran a half marathon. It will be 14 miles, so training here I come!!!
