Baby Boy or Girl Moss

I had my 20 week ultrasound on Tuesday. It's always so much fun to see the baby kicking and punching around. We decided not to find out the sex of the baby this time, and it hasn't been as hard as I thought. But who knows I may be asking for another ultrasound to find out. :) This baby so far is just as stubborn as Kennedy. She/He is breach. Kennedy stayed in that comfy position from 20 weeks on. We even tried an external inversion.(which I would never recommend to anyone!!!!) Since I will be having a c-section no matter what this baby is welcome to stay in any position it wants, as long as it quits kicking my bladder!!!!! The baby was also in a weird position to get a very good profile shot.  Here's a look at baby #5!

Despite all the nervousness I'm having about having 5 children, I'm so glad we decided to have just one more. We are so excited and so are the kids!!! Look for baby girl or baby boy Moss the end of February.

Let me hear you say GO!!

The girls participated in the high schools cheer clinic again this year. We had a good time watching them and the football game. Cole keeps asking to go watch another one, but I think it's because he want more nachos.

The Purple People Eaters, and Red Hots!!!!

The kids played soccer this year and had a lot of fun. Thank goodness Kennedy and Kaden were on the same team this year so I wasn't running around too much. Cris was the assistant coach for their team. They chose the team name The Purple People Eaters. I told them that they would get $5 for every goal they made, thinking that it would make them get going on the field. So far Jocelyn is the only one who has made money. And boy were Kennedy and Kaden jealous when she went to the store to pick out a toy and they couldn't. They have one more game left to see if they can make any money from mom and dad. :)

Jocelyn's team is the Red Hots. She knows several of the kids on her team which makes it fun. She is also the smallest on her team. Several of the other moms asked me if she was really old enough to play. Her uniform is about 10 times to big on her too! I'm really surprised how well she plays for her first year. She really goes for the ball. One game when she made a goal, she turned to her coach with a big smile on her face and said, "I get five dollars now"  She is so much fun to watch!

I LOVE General Conference!!!!!

I LOVE the fact that my old visiting teachers still thought of my kids and made them a General Conference goodie bag....

I LOVE that we had a big bowl of candy out so when the kids could pick out a piece every time they heard a key word we choose from each talk....

I LOVE that Pres. Eyring's talk was on LOVE....

I LOVED how every time Jocelyn heard the word LOVE in his talk she would look at us with big eyes and a big smile, and put a mark down on her paper.....

I LOVE that my kids heard the word LOVE almost 40 times in his talk......

I LOVED how Cole would just go grab a few pieces and call it good....

I LOVE that Kennedy asked her good friend Ashlee for a sleepover so she could watch General Conference with us......

I LOVED that Cris was able to watch the first half of conference with us before he had to go to work........

I LOVED Pres. Monson's talk. And would LOVE to try and serve more........

I LOVE my family!!!!!!!

And I think that the dentist just might LOVE us after the kids each eat there big bag of candy......

When Life Gives You Lemons.......

Life has given us quite a few lemons lately...........

Like this broken pipe. 

See the dime size hole in the bottom?????? Well that little hole, not caused by us in any way, led to many messes. The first of which was after Kennedy, Kaden, and Cris all took showers. When Cris got out he was greeted by a squishy linoleum floor, and some very wet carpet in my room and Kennedy's. This was at 10 o'clock at night. What to do????? We called the plumber who was just at our house a few days earlier to come see what the problems was. they proceeded to cut a lovely hole in Kennedy's newly textured and painted room. Then they turned to me and said, " Do you have insurance????" So I then called the insurance company. Who in turn called and sent out a fire/water damage restoration company. We were told they would be at our house around 7p.m. to asses the damage. 7 rolled around and they were not here, and we soon get a call that says,"Our truck broke down and we won't be to your house until 9p.m." So we were thinking it wouldn't be to bad, and put all the kids down for bed in Kaden's room. The clean up guys get here and start tearing my house into pieces!!!! They worked until the wee hours of 2a.m.!!!! I was so tired and grumpy the next day, and to top it all off they had so many fans, humidifiers, and filters running that we couldn't sleep in our room.

This is what we are left with after they got all the cleanup done, and all the equipment out of our house.

Don't ya just love the retro red carpet. Notice how half of it and the sheet rock is gone. They tore it all out in our room and some in Kennedy's.

And look at our lovely bathroom.

They left us nothing except the toilet. 

You Make Lemonade.......

So now with all those lemons we got, we get to make lemonade. Or A.K.A.  We get a new master bathroom, and carpet in our room, and Kennedy's. And to top it all off we got enough insurance money to re-carpet the whole house and put in hard wood down the hall and in the computer room!!!!

I guess some good will come out of having a 6 member family use 1 very small bathroom for the next month or so.........

Jocelyn Turns 5

Jocelyn turned 5 today. Here are a few pictures I took of her.

Jocelyn chose to go watch a movie, and eat at Olive Garden for her birthday. We meet up with Josh and Susie for lunch, then meet Crystal and Lance for the movie. We went to go see the new Tim Burton movie 9. We had good food, good friends, and a fun time!!!

This morning while getting her ready for the day, she said,

"Mom, I'm five now. Does that mean I get to go to kindergarten like my friends?"

It's so hard that she missed the deadline by a week, but I'm glad to have her home for another year. She's always so sweet to her brothers, and sister. And always eager to help us with anything. 

Jocelyn, mom and dad love you so much and hope that you had a good day. And don't worry Kindergarten is just around the corner.

Will That Make Me Grow?????

So this morning while getting the girls read for church I accidently sprayed Jocelyn will the hair spray. She then proceeded to say, 

"Mom, will that make me grow?"

"No, honey." I say back.

"Oh, I wish it would" she says.

I then laugh and ask her if she really wishes she would grow.

"Yes"

I was laughing so hard. I think the poor girl wishes people would stop calling her small. She really takes after me in that area. Heck, when I was going into the 5th grade, I went school shopping with my mom. While at the checkout the lady looked at me and said, "Honey are you excited to go to Kindergarten?" I was mortified, looked and her and said, "I'm going into the 5th grade" and then walked off. 

Jocelyn you will always be mommy, and daddy's little girl! We love you!!!
